Refreshed Trezor Model T packaging
Given the feedback from the pre-order batch of the next-generation hardware wallet, the Trezor Model T, we have changed and improved some of the accompanying contents, as well as adjusted the packaging itself. Let’s have a quick look at the changes.
Printed Trezor logo.
Instead of an embossed Trezor logo on the white sleeve, we opted to print the black logo instead. Not only will this enhance the visual look of the package, but it also makes it more explicit which side is the front side. The upper edge of the sleeve also features the product name, making the box apparent even when stacked vertically.
New highlights.
The black box with the device also went through some changes; the new green guiding highlights will be most evident to your eye. Green half-circles will show you where to open the box, or where to lift out the accessory box.
Refreshed seed backup booklet.
We shipped double-sided recovery seed backup card in the first packaging version of the Trezor Model T, made of a special version of plastic, in an effort to improve the durability of the medium. Unfortunately, the plastic mold was not as capable as we hoped to, and therefore we decided to revert to paper.
We also decided to switch the format from a card to a booklet, as it proved to be a more reasonable solution.
