Trezor Suite launches!
The new desktop and web interface for Trezor hardware wallets is now officially available, replacing the previous browser wallet.
Trezor Suite is now officially available for all Trezor users! After many rounds of closed and public beta updates, a production version of the app is ready to download to your desktop or use in your browser.
New firmware for Trezor Model T (version 2.4.1) and Trezor Model One (version 1.10.2) has also been released. Update your device by opening Trezor Suite and following the in-app prompts.
Trezor Suite takes the place of the Trezor Wallet web app as the main interface for your Trezor hardware wallet, bringing heightened security, usability and privacy to cryptocurrencies. Download it now at the link below.
Trezor Suite is best experienced as a desktop app. Not only does this reduce exposure to phishing, but as a standalone program it is capable of much more than a website. New and upcoming features take advantage of this, so get the desktop app to boost privacy using the Tor network, and later set up your own full node and CoinJoin transactions.

On the roadmap are coin control, full node support, CoinJoin, a Trezor mobile app and password manager, and support for more languages! Get a Trezor hardware wallet today and take advantage of these new features as soon as they are released.
If you already have Trezor Suite installed on your computer, simply open the app and use the autoupdater to fetch the latest version. If you’re just making the switch from Trezor Wallet to Trezor Suite, you can download the right version for your operating system directly from https://suite.trezor.io.
What’s new in today’s release (version 21.7.1)?
Trezor Suite has been used by tens of thousands of Trezor customers for over half a year. During that time a lot has been tested, fixed and improved upon.
Today’s release doesn’t introduce any striking new functions but rounds off the loose ends and fills in earlier improvements like the Learn & Discover menu, and the onboarding process which were launched to beta in recent weeks.
For the official launch, we’ve focused on stability, so the latest update is filled with bug fixes to make sure new Suite users can enjoy a smooth experience. To see what to expect next, make sure you keep an eye on the roadmap where you’ll find full node support scheduled for next month and loads more to come.
For those of you eager to get back to testing, we’ll also soon be launching an Early Access mode that will let you opt in to features before they’re available in the production version.
Why you should use a hardware wallet
Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are susceptible to online attacks that can extract the wallet recovery seed, giving the attacker full access to your funds. The only way to make sure these seeds are kept secure is to generate and store them completely offline.
