The Trezor Shop is currently being targeted by a DDoS attack, meaning it is being overloaded by requests from hijacked computers, so the site may be a bit slow to access.

This attack does not affect the security of the e-shop in any way, but we know it can be a bit of an inconvenience for our customers, so please bear with us. We’ve seen these attacks plenty of times over the years and business will continue as usual.

We have implemented a couple of checks to offset the attack in the meantime, including a captcha and a limit on the number of requests that can be made at once.

Only our shop is currently affected and normal service will hopefully resume shortly.

If this DDoS attack has given you an appetite for learning more about cybersecurity, please feel free to have a read of some of our latest news on our blog. If you want to learn more about Trezor’s security measures and how we work with security experts, visit our security page.

We’re especially proud of our ongoing campaign with the Tor Project, helping NGOs and non-profits in the cybersecurity and broader technology community to take advantage of cryptocurrency. Check out our open call and remember to pass on the message to your favorite charitable organization.
